Dalai Lama joke flops for Australian news anchor in Dalai Lama interview

He starts: "The Dalai Lama walks into a pizza shop and says: 'Can you make me one with everything?'"
As the 60-year-old looks back quizzically, Stefanovic realises the tumbleweed is coming, asking: "Do you know what I mean?"
Laughing, he then resorts to gestures as he attempts to explain the play on words.
Giving up, he rests his head on his hands laughing and admits: "I knew that wouldn't work."
And that, rather than the joke, is what finally brings a chuckle from the Dalai Lama.
